The Viking Age is the period from the late eighth century to the midth century in European history, especially Northern European and Scandinavian history, following the Germanic Iron Age. It is the period of history when Scandinavian Norsemen explored Europe by its seas and rivers for trade, raids, colonization, and : Theodoros Karasavvas. It covers also history of other countries (Denmark, Sweden and Finland), but it's damn interesting how their stories intertwine and it's really difficult to see Norway's history without Denmark and Sweden. Plus, I think really good view on character of those nations, seen by the outsider.
