Get to know more about Eucalypts with the 'Growing and Knowing Eucalypts' ebook, which is a comprehensive guide to Eucalypts. The ebook will help you to understand the different classifications and varieties of Eucalypts. Eucalyptus makes most other novels seem weedy by comparison. It is a towering achievement -- Mark Sanderson, Time Out His sentences have a perpetually off-balance wit which gives you life's jumble, its mystery, its unexplained compactness. You take in the humour first, but then they deepen and deepen. Buy the book/5(45).

Editorial. Dear friends, Here we are again, with another issue of our Eucalyptus Newsletter to provide to you valuable information about the eucalyptus. In this issue, we are again bringing to you something new. It is a new section, in which I'll introduce "Online Technical Journals", where you may find important articles about the eucalyptus. A college text-book of botany: being an enlargement of the author's "Elementary botany," / (New York: Holt, ), by George Francis Atkinson (page images at HathiTrust) An elementary text-book of agricultural botany, (London, Methuen & co., ), by Michael Cresse Potter (page images at HathiTrust; US access only).

Eucalyptographia: A Descriptive Atlas of the Eucalypts of Australia provided scientific and economic information, and was ‘based mainly on the observations of earlier years’ when Mueller had access to the ‘rich collection of about 60 species of euc.’ he had cultivated in the Botanic Garden (Home et al , ). This is a good species, and quite distinct form "Argyle Apple" (E. cinerea, F.V.M.), which has a similar bark and timber and which characteristics often led Baron von Mueller to express a doubt whether the two trees were not one and the same species (vide "Eucalyptographia" under E. pulverulenta). The two differ distinctly in foliage and fruits.
